John Jorgenson playing one of his signature Gitane models at the
historic Hermitage Hotel. I've seen
many concerts in my time, and can honestly say the 2 times I've seen
John Jorgenson were may favorites (and I play blues) . Astounding
musicianship all around (including the entire band), and utterly
magical. Thanks to Saga and Shubb for sponsoring this amazing event!
|

John Jorgenson and the band. You've gotta see them!
|

Ok, there are a lot of JJ pictures here, but we just can't say enough.
Here's John playing a bouzouki.
|

....and now on the clarinet. I should add, the clarinet playing was
superb. As sweet as the great Benny Goodman!
|

Rick Shubb, of Shubb capos, soaring on the banjo with the Tora Bora
boys, bluegrass band at the Hermitage hotel. Rick is an excellent
picker and a real pleasure to watch.
|

The one and only, Tora Bora Boys, at the Hermitage. Comprised of Saga
staff and Rick Shubb, these guys are surpsingly good and a real joy to
watch.
|

The Shubb Capos booth. Shubb really do make the best capos in the
world. We've tried 'em all, and Shubb are the cream of the crop.
|

These are just fantastic. Very well-crafted box guitars, reminiscent of
the old "cigar box guitar". We played a few, and were very impressed.
Look for them soon in our store.
|

Randy Kohrs tearing it up on a Violap (amazing instrument!) at the Cole
Clark booth. Man, this guy can play! An incredible singer as well. He
did a rendition of "Sitting on Top of the World" that laid waste to
most others.
|

Larrivee Guitars could aptly be named, Acoustic Guitar Heaven. If you
haven't played one, you don't know what you're missing! Look for the
special edition NAMM model, coming soon to our store.
|

The St. Blues booth. Still the best electrics under $1000. Seriously
folks...check 'em out. You won't be disappointed! They ooze mojo!
